Serbs at the barricades for 13 days, today a big gathering in Rudare
The Serbs have been at the barricades in northern Kosovo for 13 days and are not giving up on their demand for the release of Dejan Pantic and other Serbian citizens who were arrested without grounds by the Kosovo police in the previous days.
At the barricades, the Serbs spent another night under the open sky, in extremely cold conditions, but they were determined to persevere.
The "Crisis Headquarters of the Serbian People from northern Kosovo" invited everyone to come to the protest today due to the threats of Albin Kurti, who in the previous days openly threatened to kill Serbs at the barricades.
"We invite the Serbian people living in Kosovo to the largest public protest ever, which will take place on Thursday, December 22 at noon in Rudare at the Cross, where our people, consisting of our doctors, professors, teachers, miners, our relatives, neighbors, mothers, sisters, will gather and send a clear common message that we do not agree with persecution and murders and that the north of Kosovo is neither German nor Kurti's, but it's the place where we live and where we want to stay and survive," the statement said.
