Kadrijaj on Kurti's rule: There are no new recognitions, and relations with allies have deteriorated

MP of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo Time Kadrijaj believes that Kosovo has regressed in the last two years under the government of Albin Kurti, stressing that his policy damaged the relationship with allies, did not contribute to new recognitions, and distanced Kosovo from international organizations, Ekonomia Online reports.

"The Self-Determination Movement and Albin Kurti's promises received great support from the people, and for the first time in post-war history, they won more than 50 percent of the votes. Under such circumstances, this government had to have consecutive successes because there were no obstacles in its way, as when the governments are in coalitions," she stated.

Kadrijaj says that the government has "failed" in the past two years when it comes to healthcare.

"It is the most non-transparent government. Not to mention the foreign policy – we see that we have stagnation, no new recognitions or membership in international organizations, and we have blockades and setbacks. We also have deterioration in relations with the United States of America and our allies who supported Kosovo in various processes," she noted.

Regarding the Franco-German plan, Kadrijaj says that her party demands "Kosovo's sovereignty to be preserved".

"There is no de-jure recognition, but there is de facto recognition. This government has put us in a situation where we only talk about the Community. We as AFK demand that Kosovo's sovereignty and territorial integrity is preserved, and we demand that the Constitution is preserved," Kadrijaj said.
