KP raided the Regional Waterworks facility in Zubin Potok

Officials from the Regional Waterworks in South Mitrovica entered the premises of the Regional Waterworks in Zubin Potok this morning, where, following the arrival of Kosovo Police and additional staff from the South Mitrovica waterworks, the workers were expelled.

According to a Kosovo Online reporter on the scene, several dozen police officers, as well as plainclothes inspectors, are present within the grounds of the Regional Waterworks facility in Zubin Potok. The Director of the Regional Water Supply from South Mitrovica, Bashkim Kurti, is also in the building.

After the workers were told to leave their workplaces, the police conducted a search and required the workers to open their bags for detailed inspection.

The operation of this regional waterworks facility is essential for the water supply of the residents of Zubin Potok, North Mitrovica, and Zvecan.
