Krasniqi: Dissolving the Management Team was Kurti's play

Memli Krasniqi, the President of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, said on TV Klan Kosova that the dissolution of the Management Team for drafting the CSM Statute was just a show by Prime Minister Kurti because, according to him, this change could have been made earlier and another team could have been appointed instead, as reported by Reporteri.

"This was a small play because the change they implemented yesterday could have been done earlier, and another team could have been appointed since it is the responsibility of the government. I do not understand this act because it has no function. They knew they had to replace it and left it to come to Brussels and make a presentation, an institutional instance set up by Kosovo with a document that is truly against Kosovo. Why do you have to make this show, why do you have to act?" Krasniqi said.

He added that debates on the Statute Draft of the CSM presented in Brussels would continue, despite the draft presented by the Prime Minister, which Krasniqi called ridiculous.

"Despite the fact that the prime minister appeared at the press conference and showed how he gave a draft of his vision. This is the latest terminology. I heard that there is a vision, but I heard for the first time about a draft of the vision. This is ridiculous; a linguist should be here to explain how one can have a draft of the vision," Krasniqi said.

He stated that the draft of the vision presented by Kurti in Brussels was the same as the one he had presented in parliament three months ago.

"This draft of the vision is like those 5–6 points in the assembly that he showed us three months ago. He came to the Assembly and said that there is no way out of this deal or agreement without Serbia recognizing us, and in the end, it did not happen. Even these 11 points are the same; they will be used for domestic politics and, in the end, will be the basis for the status," Krasnicqi said, among other things.
