Kurti: Next year, we will have 500 more police officers and 600 new KSF members

Kosovo will have 600 more KSF members and 500 more police officers next year compared to this year, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti announced at a party rally of the Self-Determination Movement, Koha reports.
"Tell all activists and citizens that they won't be able to stop us, neither in the south nor in the north. It's been six weeks since Sergeant Afrim Bunjaku was killed, but in 2024, we will have an additional 600 soldiers and 500 police officers for the law, constitution, and the defense and security of our Kosovo", Kurti said at the Self-Determination Movement rally.
He also announced an increase in the budget for education and healthcare.
"The budget for education, including grants for municipalities, will be 20% higher next year than in the current year 2023. In 2024, healthcare will receive 340 million euros in investment, while the University Clinical Center will have a budget 25% higher", he said.
