The General Director of Telekom Serbia, Vladimir Lucic, emphasized that after the decision by Albin Kurti's government to shut down the company, Telekom Serbia has now reached a position to expand its operations across the entire territory of Kosovo.

"One of my most cherished victories is that we managed to defend ourselves against Kurti's regime's attempts to shut us down in Kosovo. After defending our company, we launched a counteroffensive, and now we are working to resolve the last issue, obtaining a 5G license, because Kurti's regime is covertly trying to allocate licenses to their own operators without including us," Lucic explained to RTS.

He recalled his trip to Washington, where he advocated for compliance with the Washington Agreement to ensure that Telekom Serbia obtains a license to operate across the entire territory of Kosovo.

"I believe we will achieve this after the elections. Following their attempt to shut us down, we will emerge victorious and expand across the entire territory of Kosovo and Metohija," Lucic stated confidently.

He added that Kurti tried to prevent this because he knows that Telekom Serbia offers the best and most affordable services, which would cause many to switch to its network.

When asked about his expectations from the new US President, Donald Trump, Lucic said that Telekom has had good cooperation with the current administration and expects even more support from the new one.

"I hope that after the elections in Kosovo, the strength of Kurti's administration will diminish. We are simply asking for a fair competition, and the people will decide which network they prefer," he concluded.
