Marinkovic: There is evidence that the "Yellow House" existed

Former investigative judge Danica Marinkovic and lawyer Goran Petronijevic believe that the distortion of facts in The Hague is dangerous, stressing that no one in the world could turn a blind eye to the report of former European Commission special rapporteur Dick Marty, who determined that there was organ trafficking, Kurir writes.

Former KLA commander Hashim Thaci, who was accused of crimes in Kosovo, denied before the Hague court that the KLA traded in prisoners' human organs in 1999, but he also claimed that the "Yellow House" did not even exist.

Marinkovic says there is unequivocal evidence that the "Yellow House" existed, as well as that there are witnesses who are alive and can testify.

"It is terrible what happened there. Thaci has the right to defend himself and say whatever he wants, but it is shameful to say that that house did not exist at all. Where is the compassion for the victims' families? But, since he could act in such a monstrous way and commit crimes, what else should we expect of him? I hope that the witnesses will persevere and that the prosecution will protect them so they can say everything, and that Thaci and the others will be convicted because what they did was truly terrible," she said.

Petronijevic first points out that the Hague prosecution did not include the criminal offense of organ trafficking in the indictment, which he considers to be a very bad thing.

"Also, the prosecution's indictment avoided the essence of the matter, which was that this criminal enterprise was actually aimed at ethnic cleansing of Serbs." And, while Thaci may claim that the "Yellow House" did not exist, the activities of the experts who gathered evidence on the ground clearly show that it did. In that sense, it is also in vain that Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama is conducting some kind of petition for the revision of Dick Marty's report, which stated the facts so clearly and loudly that even Europe could not remain silent about them," Petronijevic said.
