Members of the KSF with symbols of "Greater Albania"

As a part of the central celebration of the Day of the Kosovo Security Force, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and President Vjosa Osmani visited members of the KSF at the "Adem Jashari" barracks. Some KSF members displayed noticeable symbols of "Greater Albania", and signs of the KLA could be seen everywhere.
On the "Greater Albania" map carried by certain KSF members, it reads "We are proud of you", while slogans such as "Once KLA, today KSF", "Our army, our pride", and "We will not surrender as long as I am alive; the killers will pass only over my dead body" were also visible.
During the visit, Prime Minister Kurti congratulated Albanians on the Day of the Kosovo Security Force and reiterated that the KSF was the successor of the KLA.
Kurti emphasized that the Government had so far sent 3,459 soldiers and officers for training abroad, and the Kosovo Government had doubled the military budget.
"The Government of Kosovo has more than doubled the budget for the Ministry of Defense in less than three years, tripled investments in weaponry, and more than quadrupled the training and education of our officers and soldiers abroad. In less than 32 months, we have sent 3,459 soldiers and officers abroad. At the same time, it is clear to us that the KSF is the successor of the Kosovo Liberation Army," he stated.
Let's recall that on the map of "Greater Albania", in addition to Kosovo, parts of Montenegro, Greece, North Macedonia, and central Serbia are encompassed.
Recently, Ivan Stoilkovic, the President of the Democratic Party of the Serbs in North Macedonia and a member of the Assembly stated in an interview with Kosovo Online regarding the opening of the KLA memorial room in the village of Sopot in the Municipality of Kumanovo that he feared this event would open Pandora's box of nationalism in that country.
He added that this event was not understandable in the normal world. Another thing that caught his eye was the iconography accompanying the entire event, associated with the "Greater Albania" map.
"Even after Kurti, they continued with the 'Greater Albania' flag, and everything that happened before, up to the opening of the KLA memorial museum in the village of Sopot, was accompanied by the 'Greater Albania' map. It happens too often for all of this to be accidental. The third thing that stands out is the rhetoric that was present. The leader of the Albanian party in Macedonia, the Democratic Union for Integration, said that they had decided to be the masters of Macedonia. The rhetoric that you have decided to be someone's master does not come out of nowhere. It is about implementing an agenda that is clear to everyone, and everyone knows what it is about, but no one wants to talk about it publicly. In the end, as far as Macedonia is concerned, these events are related to the appearance of one of the leading Albanian ideologues in Macedonia who caused a major incident on a state television a few days ago. This is a man who is a collaborator of the Government for Euro-Atlantic values, and he has promoted the idea of uniting Albania, Macedonia, and Kosovo. This simply means that the Government has lost its compass, besides the incompetence it shows in solving all social problems", Stoilkovic emphasized.
