President of the Democratic Party of Serbs in North Macedonia and member of the Sobranie, Ivan Stoilkovic, in a statement to Kosovo Online regarding the opening of the KLA memorial room in the village of Sopot in the Municipality of Kumanovo, notes that he is concerned that this event will open a Pandora's box of nationalism in the country.

Stoilkovic stated that such events would become more frequent as the election campaign approached.

"Every day, we will witness more of such events, mainly unpleasant events. They happen because it is so blatantly unlawful that you cannot accept that a party responsible for Macedonia's foreign affairs and a party in charge of Macedonia's European integration talks about European values while preparing to open a KLA memorial room overnight without public presence", Stoilkovic emphasized.

He added that this event was not understandable in the normal world. Another thing that catches his eye is the iconography that accompanies the whole event and is related to the map of "Greater Albania".

"Even after Kurti, they went with the flag of 'Greater Albania', and everything that happened before, up to the opening of the KLA memorial museum in the village of Sopot, was accompanied by the map of 'Greater Albania'. It happens too often to be just a coincidence. The third thing that catches the eye is the rhetoric that was present. The leader of the Albanian party in Macedonia, the Democratic Union for Integration, said they had decided to be the masters of Macedonia. The rhetoric that you have decided to be someone's master doesn't happen out of the blue. It's about the realization of an agenda that is clear to everyone, but no one wants to talk about it publicly. As for Macedonia, these events are related to the appearance of one of the leading Albanian ideologists in Macedonia, who made a big incident on state television a few days ago. This is a man who is a collaborator of the Government for Euro-Atlantic values and has promoted the idea of unifying Albania, Macedonia, and Kosovo. This only means that the Government has lost its compass in addition to its inability to solve all social problems", Stoilkovic emphasized.

He said that Albanian nationalists had once again opened Pandora's box of nationalism in Macedonia.

"Of course, when this Pandora's box is opened, the bearers of this story are always the Albanian nationalists and representatives of a political party that, despite having all the levers of power in their hands, cannot go to the elections without the national card. It's neither new nor unexpected, but it's simply concerning that the international community persistently remains silent on all these events. I wonder if the international community will have anyone to turn to with such behavior in the coming period", Stoilkovic concluded.
