Miljkovic: Detention of Milun Milenkovic Lune extended for another two months

Milun Milenkovic Lune from North Mitrovica has had his detention extended for another two months, his lawyer Predrag Miljkovic told Kosovo Online.

Miljkovic announced that he would file an appeal against this decision tomorrow.

"This morning, I received the decision to extend the detention for another two months, until May 12. The detention has been extended under the same conditions as last time," Miljkovic stated.

Milenkovic was arrested on June 13 in North Mitrovica and has since been held in a high-risk detention unit in Podujevo.

He is accused of involvement in an incident outside the Municipal Election Commission office in North Mitrovica and in a clash between protesters and KFOR in Zvecan.

His arrest in North Mitrovica prompted several protest rallies by the Serbs, from which messages of support were sent to him.
