The chairwoman of the parliamentary committee for Kosovo and Metohija, Danijela Nikolic, stated that the head of the Self-Determination parliamentary group, Mimoza Kusari-Lila, and Kosovo’s Prime Minister Albin Kurti are deliberately ignoring all agreements and obligations stemming from the Brussels Agreement, interpreting it in a way that suits them, without any real application or purpose for its existence.

Through the platform "X," Nikolic emphasized that Kosovo does not have the authority to write any draft statute for the CSM, as otherwise, she noted, it would essentially be a statute for a "hunting association formally tasked with hunting Serbs."

"The Management Team, which is a result of dialogue and agreements from 2013 and based on the agreement on the Scope and Functioning of the Management Team, has written and presented the draft statute for the CSM, as it is the only entity authorized by the agreements to do so," Nikolic stated.

She criticized Kusari-Lila for demonstrating over the past three years how she would govern the lives of Serbs in Kosovo, adding that it is "certainly not the CSM."

"In addition to the Draft Statute of the CSM presented by the Management Team, the EU has also put forth its own proposal, which Pristina continues to reject. This clearly shows that Kurti does not want the CSM, and everyone should be aware of this," Nikolic concluded.
