No delay; Tomorrow the Kosovo police starts issuing fines for the license plates
From tomorrow, the Kosovo police will start issuing fines to citizens who have cars with license plates of Kosovo cities issued by the Serbian Ministry of Interior Affairs, Indeksonline reports.
The Kosovo Police state that they "continuously monitored all events and from an operational point of view made expert assessments in accordance with which they took necessary, reasonable and legal measures for the implementation of laws and decisions of the state".
"According to the decision on license plates, a warning measure is foreseen until November 21, while after this date, from November 22, the Kosovo Police will start imposing fines according to the current legislation, which, according to the police's assessment and plan, is expected to start during the morning shift tomorrow", says the response of the Kosovo Police to Indeksonline.
Fines of 150 euros will be issued to drivers who have not re-registered their vehicles with RKS plates.
