Office for Kosovo and Metohija: Kurti continues torture, provokes conflict with peaceful Serbian people
The Office for Kosovo and Metohija has stated that the arrest of another Serb in Kosovo, Uros V. from Leposavic, which occurred this morning, is a continuation of Albin Kurti's torture, who, according to them, is using all means to provoke a conflict with the peaceful Serbian people.
"Uros V. was arrested when he was heading to work early this morning, and he was arrested by members of Kurti's Kosovo Police in civilian clothes, one of whom was even driving a vehicle with KM license plates," the Office's statement reads.
It is further emphasized that he is not a criminal but a 28-year-old young man who was peacefully going to work, knowing that he did nothing wrong.
"Kurti, without any evidence and despite facts that contradict him, daily arrests Serbs, while the international community turns a blind eye and pretends not to see the violations of the basic rights of Serbs, Kurti's daily harassment, physical, legal, and institutional violence against our people," the Office for Kosovo and Metohija conveyed.
They also questioned whether it is possible anywhere in the democratic Western world for anyone to be arrested based on political orders without evidence.
"How is it possible that evidence daily contradicts Svecla and Kurti, yet they continue their attacks on Serbs? The international community must urgently wake up and put a stop to the irrational moves of Pristina because peace in Kosovo and Metohija can only be sustained through the superhuman efforts of Serbs in northern Kosovo and Metohija who have patiently endured Kurti's torture for two years," the Office emphasized.
