Osmani: Kosovo and Albania have the same goals

Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani stated tonight, at a reception commemorating the 111th anniversary of Albania's independence, that Kosovo and Albania had the same goals.

At the ceremony organized by the Embassy of Albania in Pristina, she emphasized that both countries strived for progress in European integration.

"The date November 28 marks the recognition of Albania as a state, but this date also reminds us of November 28, 1443, when Skanderbeg announced the first project of European integration, and Albanians carried his seal. Today, the Albanian state embodies that project with statehood, peace, and neighbors", Osmani emphasized.

She pointed out that cooperation in defending integrity, developing institutions, and in many other areas were common foundations.

"We have an obligation to work together for the generations that come after us, preserving what we have built through effort and sacrifice. Together, we contribute by walking side by side", the President of Kosovo emphasized.
