Pacolli: The problem of Kosovo and Serbia can only be solved through dialogue; the region needs an international conference

The President of the New Kosovo Alliance, Behgjet Pacolli, said that the problem between Kosovo and Serbia could only be solved through dialogue and that the region needed an international peace conference, Gazeta Blic reports.

Pacolli believes that the meeting in Brussels that was held today should have been held earlier, and according to him, Kosovo should always be ready for such meetings.

"I believe that meetings should be held; we must not miss a single meeting. This meeting should have happened even earlier, I don't know what the epilogue will be. We hope that the time has come for the parties to understand that the problem can only be solved through dialogue and in the right way. The option of war no longer exists, this region needs an international peace conference where everyone will understand that the only option is peace, achieved by people who have a constructive will to solve the problem knowing that borders will lose all meaning in the future. There needs to be a good relationship, we need to open the borders and guarantee the freedom of movement of people," Pacolli said.
