Petkovic: Attempt to ban the Serb List from participating in the elections is proof of Kurti's nervousness and fear of a debacle

The Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petkovic, stated that the new blow by Kosovo's caretaker Prime Minister Albin Kurti against the Serb List, and the attempt to prohibit it from taking part in the upcoming elections, is proof of his nervousness and fear of a final debacle in the vote on 28 December.

"As we have said many times, Kurti has nothing to offer his voters except bare hatred toward everything Serbian, he has no economic program whatsoever, so he is pulling a new desperate move in an attempt to artificially stay in power," Petkovic stated.

Petkovic stressed that Kurti is forcibly trying to push Nenad Rasic into the Kosovo parliament, even though, as he noted, the Serbian people do not want him.

"In addition, by attempting to ban the Serb List from taking part in the elections, Kurti wants to forcibly push his favorite, Nenad Rasic, back into the so-called parliament in Pristina, because he knows very well that the Serbian people do not want him and that he represents no one other than the anti-Serb authorities in Pristina," Petkovic said.

He noted that this is the third attempt in a year for Kurti to do everything he can to ban the Serb List from participating in the elections.

"The reason is that the Serb List is the only one fighting for the interests of the Serbian people and represents a barrier to Kurti's dream of an ethnically clean Kosovo and Metohija. One thing, however, is certain, and Kurti should remember this lesson well – for every strike against our people and the Serb List, Serbs will respond on 28 December with even stronger unity and cohesion," the Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija concluded.
