Italian Embassy regrets the non-certification of the Serb List for participation in the December elections

The Embassy of Italy in Pristina has expressed regret over the decision of the Central Election Commission not to certify the Serb List for participation in the early elections on 28 December.

The Embassy, as stated, emphasized the importance of ensuring a fully democratic electoral process, where all political parties have the opportunity to participate in a fair and inclusive manner.

This is the third time that the CEC has initially failed to certify the Serb List for participation in elections. The first time occurred during the regular parliamentary elections on 9 February, and then again in the local elections on 12 October.

In both previous cases, the Election Complaints and Appeals Panel (ECAP) overturned the CEC’s decision.
