Petkovic: Europe, when will Pantic be allowed to see his family?

Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petkovic, said that today was the fifth day that Dejan Pantic had been imprisoned in the Kosovo Police base in Jarinje and that his family had not seen or heard from him, not even for a minute.

Petkovic asked the EU Special Envoy for dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, Miroslav Lajcak, the Head of the OSCE Mission in Kosovo, Michael Davenport, and EULEX representatives on Twitter, when will Pantic, who is a CVD patient, be able to hear and see his family, which is one of the basic human rights.

"Europe, do you know what the agony of the Pantic family looks like, who do not know if their father, husband, and grandfather is alive, if he received the medicine we sent, and if he is being tortured and mistreated in Kurti's base? Why are they not allowing the liaison officer to visit him?" Petkovic asked.

"It is clear that Kurti is ready to do anything, even to trample his own regulations when he wants to attack the Serbs," Petkovic concluded and published a photo of the documents from which it was clear that a prisoner could not be denied the right to medical care, nor the contact with family and lawyer.
