Petkovic: Even after the death of Oliver Ivanovic, Kurti shamelessly called him a malefactor and a war criminal

Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Petar Petkovic, reacted to the statement of Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of Oliver Ivanovic's murder, stating that "the last person today who has the right to speak about Oliver Ivanovic is Albin Kurti, who even after his death shamelessly called him a malefactor and a war criminal on TV N1".

Petkovic wrote on Twitter that "Kurti is now trying to use the perished Oliver to attack the state of Serbia and the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija".

"Shameless and inhumane; In January 2016, Ivanovic was sentenced to nine years in prison for a war crime committed in April 1999, although the 81 witnesses heard during the trial did not directly link him to the crime charged. We have not, nor will we forget, how the innocent Oliver was kept in the Pristina casemate for 3.5 years! His family and party comrades, who know very well who supported Oliver all the time, are the best witnesses to this," Petkovic wrote.
