Petkovic: The Kosovo police again entered the territory of central Serbia
The Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija of the Government of Serbia said today that the Kosovo police had again entered the territory of central Serbia, 500 meters from the administrative line.
"They have no business there, and they entered with their vehicle armed to the teeth," Petkovic said.
At the press conference, a video was played showing how, as Petkovic says, the so-called Kosovo Police had once again invaded the territory of central Serbia.
"It is irrefutable evidence, which shows how brutally Albin Kurti and Xhelal Svecla, i.e. Pristina, violate Resolution 1244 and the Military-Technical Agreement. This is the corpus delicti, which clearly shows that they entered with the vehicle, armed to the teeth," Petkovic said.
He reported that today police officers in Bujanovac, from the Breznica checkpoint, had noticed a fast-moving police vehicle of the Kosovo Police, from the direction of Karacevo towards the village of Breznica. As he stated, that police vehicle had been chasing a white van, and when that white van had turned from the road towards the village, at the point of the turn, from the police vehicle of the Kosovo Police, a car brand "Dacia", marked "Police 27202", the passenger had gotten out and had looked to see where the van had gone.
"At that moment, when the so-called Kosovo Police stopped, they were spotted by the Serbian Police, and our members went in their direction, in order to stop them with the intention of committing crimes in central Serbia. When Kurti's policemen saw that they had been spotted, the passenger quickly returned to the vehicle and they set off towards Kosovo and Metohija, towards Karacevo," Petkovic said.
He asked what would have happened if the Serbian policemen had not spotted the Kosovo Police vehicle.
"They would obviously continue in the direction of the village and continue to hunt in the territory of central Serbia, where they have no business, just as they had not on June 14 when they were located in central Serbia, only then were they arrested because they were found with long guns and equipment,” Petkovic added.
He said that the driver of the van had reported to the police station and stated that the members of the Kosovo Police started chasing him because he had Bujanovac license plates without stickers.
"Our forensic experts went to the scene so that an official report will be ready, where it will be clearly seen that the Kosovo Police entered the territory of central Serbia, 500 meters from the administrative line. Is this now the kidnapping of Kosovo policemen like Kurti all the time spoke for the members of the so-called Kosovo Police who were caught on June 14 in the territory of Raska, and here they were caught in the territory of the municipality of Bujanovac? No, of course, they were not kidnapped, but they entered in violation of all agreements, and in the territory of central Serbia they were spotted by the police, as in both cases," Petkovic said.
He announced that this video would be sent to the representatives of the international community so that they can clearly see that it is Pristina and Albin Kurti who are constantly violating agreements and provoking.
Kurti will now not be able, Petkovic emphasizes, to say that members of the Serbian police entered the territory of Kosovo and arrested Kosovo policemen there because the video proves that the Kosovo policemen crossed the administrative line and "roamed" on the territory of Serbia in a police vehicle.
"That only tells you about all the lies of Pristina and indicates their intention to provoke both the Serbs and Serbia. This video of members of the Kosovo Police armed to the teeth in this vehicle should also be seen by Alicia Kearns, who accuses the SOC and says that she does not know who is smuggling weapons," the Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija says.
He said that Serbia had offered to conduct a polygraph examination of those who had arrested the Kosovo policemen on June 14, in order to clearly determine where they had been arrested.
"Here is another corpus delicti that the Kosovo Police violates all agreements,” Petkovic concluded.
