Petkovic: Now is the turning point for the CSM
The Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petkovic, announced this afternoon that Albin Kurti was trying in various ways to avoid the obligation to form the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities and that now was the turning point for this issue.
During the break, after the meeting of the High EU Representative for Foreign and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, and the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, Petkovic told TV Pink that the President of Serbia was struggling to comply with the Brussels Agreement.
"Kurti is trying in every way to avoid the obligation to form the CSM. He does it in different ways and with different tricks. President Vucic is fighting and insisting on the CSM because it is an obligation of Pristina that has existed for 10 years," he emphasized.
Petkovic added that this was exactly the reason for this situation and the reason for great nervousness.
Commenting on some allegations that today is "D-Day", and that something will be signed already today, or by March 15, Petkovic also pointed out that today was no "D-Day".
"Citizens of Serbia will see what President Aleksandar Vucic is saying and doing, and what the opposition in Belgrade is doing, which is trying to damage their country in every way, will come to light. We will talk about it, here we are focused on dialogue and the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities," Petkovic said.
