Petkovic: The only one who belongs to the last century is Kurti, who is trying to expel the dinar and the Serbs from Kosovo
The only one who belongs to the last century is Albin Kurti, who is trying in every possible way to expel from Kosovo, not only the dinar, but also the Serbian people from their centuries-old hearths, said the director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Petar Petkovic, reacting to Kurti's statement that "the dinar belongs to the last century and the time of Milosevic".
Petkovic pointed out that for more than two months, Belgrade has been trying to find a sustainable solution through dialogue and compromise for the ban on dinar payments in Kosovo, which has affected 100,000 compatriots, from the most sensitive categories and the socially vulnerable to doctors, professors, students, as well as vital institutions such as hospitals and kindergartens, but that Kurti obviously does not want peace or a solution, but conflicts.
He showed that with his latest statement, added Petkovic.
"Kurti is the one who wants to turn the entire region of the Western Balkans into a powder keg with his backward, violent and anti-Serb policy every day, because he has no other policy to offer his supporters, eight naked violence and terror against the Serbs. This and such a policy of Pristina takes us back decades." and instead of building bridges of reconciliation, Kurti, with his unilateral actions, is once again creating a region of crisis and tension from the territory of Kosovo and Metohija," stated the director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija.
He pointed out that, on the other hand, Belgrade, led by President Aleksandar Vucic, is fighting for peace, prosperity and normalization of relations through compromise as values that "every normal person should strive for, but Kurti certainly does not want that".
