Petkovic: Pristina's intention to avoid establishing the CSM by hiding behind the Constitutional Court will not pass

The director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petkovic, said that the tactic of Pristina was crystal clear to cheat on Brussels again and avoid establishing the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities that is in accordance with the four signed Agreements.

Petkovic reacted in this way to the statement of the Kosovo Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport, Hajrulla Ceku, who said that "it is possible to form the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities, which is requested in the Annex to the implementation of the agreement with Serbia, but that it will immediately go to the Constitutional Court for consideration, where it will fail again.”

"It has now been openly confirmed also by Kurti's so-called minister, showing who's violating the arrangements," Petkovic said, expecting the reaction of Miroslav Lajcak, the EU Special Representative for the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue.

Petkovic further added that "Pristina will not get away with their intention to hide behind the Constitutional Court."

"Pristina has no intention of ever allowing the CSM, and they are hiding behind the so-called constitutional court. They will not get away with this", Petkovic said.
