Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petkovic, stated regarding the removal of signs with place names in northern Kosovo written in Cyrillic script that Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti could target Cyrillic, but he could not sever the unbreakable bond between the Serbs and their state, Serbia.
Petkovic, on the social network "X," alluding to Albin Kurti, noted that those who only knew violence would never know what peaceful coexistence meant.
"Kurti can target Cyrillic traffic signs, but he cannot sever the unbreakable bond between the Serbs and their state, Serbia! Those who only know violence will never know what peaceful coexistence means. Serbian Cyrillic has survived centuries; it will survive a petty tyrant," Petkovic stated.
