The Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Petar Petkovic pointed out that Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, after the Brussels Agreement, was now openly mocking the United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244.

Petkovic announced that the fact that Serbia respected the UN Charter and the decisions of the Security Council was not funny, as Kurti said, but responsible, adding that Kurti did not even know what that word means.

"Just like in Pristina, they don't even know what the UN is, because they have not and will not move beyond the hallway of this institution, through which they comically wander every year. That is why it is funny that Kurti even tries to interpret the UN Resolution 1244 and the request for the return of Serbian security forces to Kosovo and Metohija," Petkovic said.

He added that the issue had had nothing to do with Kurti.

"It is incredible how only those parts of international agreements and decisions that are in favor of Serbia, as well as those agreements that should be implemented by Pristina, are always "funny". International law can only be respected in its entirety, not as Kurti is used to, accepting only what suits him. Kurti has to learn one thing - the strength of international law is not in force, but in its norms; Kurti started laughing and gloating too soon," Petkovic added.
