Petkovic: Shipment of our medicines will be delivered to hospitals in Kosovo and Metohija soon, Belgrade's diplomatic efforts have yielded results
The Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petkovic, stated that the Serbian people in Kosovo had been on the brink of a humanitarian catastrophe due to a two-year blockade and obstruction by Pristina, emphasizing that Serbia would never give up on "our people in Kosovo and Metohija."
"Thanks to Belgrade's intensive and lengthy diplomatic efforts, a shipment of our medicines will soon be delivered to hospitals in Kosovo and Metohija! Two semi-trucks and a truck carrying necessary medications and infusion solutions entered Kosovo and Metohija last night and will be distributed to our healthcare institutions after the necessary procedures," Petkovic noted.
The Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija highlights that, due to the nearly two-year blockade and obstruction by Pristina, which was making up various administrative obstacles, they were on the verge of a humanitarian catastrophe.
"Belgrade regularly warned officials of the EU during the dialogue, as well as other international actors about this. We will never give up on our people in Kosovo and Metohija!" Petkovic conveyed on the "X" social network.
