Petkovic: Svecla wants to lecture on rule of law, but made a name for himself by attacking EULEX

The Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petkovic, stated today that Kosovo's acting Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Svecla, is the last person who should be speaking about the rule of law, reminding of his past attacks on EULEX and international representatives.

"We don’t need lessons on the rule of law from Svecla, who ‘made a name for himself’ by attacking EULEX and throwing stones at international representatives. And now he runs from court hearings like the devil from the cross," Petkovic wrote on the social network “X”.

He added that Svecla’s obsession with Belgrade “borders on pathological.”

Svecla yesterday shared a statement on Facebook from the Kosovo Property Comparison and Verification Agency (AKKVP) regarding the eviction of the Janicijevic family, with a remark that Serbia is attempting to manipulate through lies.

“In our Republic, not only will truth prevail, but also order and the rule of law, always and everywhere,” Svecla wrote.
