Police officers stormed the yard of the Provisional Authority of Istok Municipality; Health Center closed

Vehicles of the Kosovo Police stormed into the yard of the Provisional Authority of Istok Municipality located in Osojane, after which they closed the Health Center.

Special police forces armed with automatic rifles arrived in four police cars, followed by plainclothes individuals who came in two jeeps.

Police officers first stormed the Health Center in Osojane and closed it, and their intention is to enter the pharmacy, which is currently locked. A police jeep is parked in front of the pharmacy, and the police are waiting to be allowed inside.

Following the police raid in Osojane, classes were interrupted, and children were sent home. Meanwhile, more police have arrived in the village, and cars are being stopped on the approach to the center.

Osojane is the largest returning village in Metohija and the only returning community where life has begun to be restored in some acceptable form after the conflicts in Kosovo.
