Rakic: I call on the citizens for peace and restraint

The president of the Serb List, Goran Rakic, called on all citizens for peace and restraint, telling them not to succumb to provocations.

"We all need peace and the continuation of the dialogue in order to give space to the negotiators who would solve this situation through dialogue and not through unilateral moves," Rakic said.

Rakic demands that the arrested fellow citizens be released, adding that everyone was aware that these were fabricated charges.

"We also demand that any incursion of Kosovo police or other units into the north of Kosovo and Metohija be prevented. I call on citizens to allow KFOR and EULEX to move because their presence is in accordance with previously adopted international agreements," Rakic said.
