The German Ambassador to Pristina, Jörn Rohde, called on Kosovo to begin work on forming the Association of Serb Municipalities, reports Front Online.

Rohde also urged Serbia to honor agreements and refrain from blocking Kosovo's participation in certain international organizations.

"Dialogue means talking to one another. We have a basis, we have the Ohrid and Brussels agreements, and both sides must negotiate and engage in mutual good faith, not act at the last minute. We have a clear path to normalization—I wouldn’t repeat it. Kosovo should start forming the Community of Serb Municipalities, and Serbia should do its part by not blocking Kosovo's participation in some international organizations," he stated.

Rohde added that concessions sometimes need to be made to the other side, citing Kosovo as an example.

"Sometimes you need to make concessions. For instance, two weeks ago, Kosovo announced that Kosovo Serbs could register and legalize their documents issued by parallel institutions. You know what happened between Germany and France after the war—that is the way forward," Rohde concluded.
