Rohde: The replacement of the Management Team is not in accordance with the Brussels Agreement

In a statement for RTK, the German Ambassador to Kosovo Jorn Rohde criticized the Kosovo government for replacing the Management Team, stating that it was not in accordance with the Brussels Agreement and said that the statute of the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities had to be in accordance with the Constitution of Kosovo.

"We are far from understanding the nature of the Community, however, Germany will continue to support the full implementation of all agreements that were accepted and signed in Brussels, as well as to support Kosovo. We have always said that any type of statute had to be in accordance with the Constitution of Kosovo," he reminded.

According to him, politicians should work on the implementation of those agreements in order to achieve what everyone wants, which is stability and peace.

"Now we have a situation where we still have parallel structures, and the goal of the Community is to bring the parallel structures within the scope of the Kosovo legislation," he explained.

Rohde criticized the government of Kosovo for the dismissal of the members of the Management Team, saying that today's decision was not in accordance with the Brussels Agreement.
