Rubio: With Vucic on the strategic dialogue that the two nations will soon launch
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio emphasized that in New York he discussed with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic the strategic dialogue that, as he stressed, the two nations will soon launch.
Rubio noted that he also spoke with Vucic about US participation in the EXPO, describing it as an opportunity to further strengthen bilateral relations.
“Glad to see Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic again today in New York. We discussed the Strategic Dialogue our two nations will launch soon and US participation in EXPO 2027, both opportunities to further strengthen our bilateral relationship as we seek to build a better future together,” Rubio wrote on social media platform X.
Last night, on the sidelines of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, Vucic told Rubio that Serbia is committed to preserving peace and stability, expressing gratitude for the role of the US in protecting the security of the Serbian people in Kosovo and for its contribution to the Belgrade–Pristina dialogue process.
