Serb List: Arrests in Leposavic and Zubin Potok are a form of repression against innocent citizens

The Serb List strongly condemns the random and baseless arrests of Serbs in Zubin Potok and Leposavic, including the arrest of media worker Dusan Milanovic, which represents a classic form of repression against innocent citizens by police units under the command of Albin Kurti, as stated in the party's press release.

"Brutal raids early this morning on the homes of our fellow citizens, without any warrants, the harassment of entire families, the destruction of private property, and the intimidation of honorable families create fear and a sense of insecurity among our citizens," the Serb List stated.

They have called for international missions, primarily EULEX and KFOR, to increase their presence and, as they state, prevent repression against innocent people, as it is their duty to ensure peace and security for all.

"Incendiary rhetoric and accusations from Albin Kurti without an independent international investigation fuel further ethnic intolerance and can have dire consequences for the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija, who are committed to peace. We demand that an independent international investigation be conducted into last night's events and that this incident not be used to continue the persecution of innocent Serbs," the Serb List concluded.
