Kosovo Police arrested Dusan Milanovic

Dusan Milanovic, a resident of Leposavic and the owner of VIM Info, a company registered in the Kosovo system and that is the founder of the Kosovo Online portal, was detained earlier today by the Kosovo Police.

According to local witnesses, around 8:45 a.m., approximately twenty members of the Kosovo Police, accompanied by two armored vehicles and three SUVs, entered Milanovic's home in Leposavic.

The family was informed, according to the same source, that an inspector had a warrant from a prosecutor in Pristina for Milanovic's arrest and for a thorough search of the house. At 9:20 a.m., Milanovic was taken into custody, and police proceeded to search the premises.

At this time, there is no information from the police regarding the reasons for Milanovic's detention, as the North Region of the Kosovo Police has not responded to our inquiries.

He was initially taken to the police station in Leposavic before being transferred to a station in Mitrovica.
