The Serb List announced that the petition against the construction of Kurti’s bridges on the Ibar River has been successfully completed, stating that the Serbian people rightfully perceive them as symbols of imposition, division, and provocation, according to the party’s statement.

They emphasized that in just 11 hours of organized petition signing, 3,628 citizens expressed their support for the clear stance opposing this arbitrary and unilateral decision made by Pristina.

“This number of signatures in such a short period sends a strong and unequivocal message – the people are against imposition and the politics of force. Serb List sincerely thanks all citizens who showed responsibility, unity, and readiness to stand in defense of their city, their community, and their right to be consulted on decisions that affect their lives,” the Serb List stated.

They added that in the coming days, the petition will be officially submitted to representatives of the Quint countries, the KFOR mission, EULEX, the European Union, the OSCE, and UNMIK, along with a request for: an urgent and clear response to the actions of institutions in Pristina, a halt to the construction of bridges without consulting the Serbian people, and respect for fundamental democratic and international legal principles.

“The Serbian people are not against development and infrastructure, but they are against decisions made without their involvement and against policies aimed at erasing their presence in this region,” the Serb List concluded.
