The Serb List: Councilors' decisions in Leposavic and Zubin Potok continue the escalation

The Serb List announced that with today's decision of the councilors of the municipal assemblies in Leposavic and Zubin Potok to submit a request for joining these municipalities to the Association of Kosovo Municipalities, the escalation of the situation on the ground continued against the demands of the Serbs, the EU and the USA.

As stated in the announcement of the Serb List, such decisions "by Kurti's illegal and illegitimate councilors are aimed at deepening the crisis and causing further tensions in Kosovo."

"As in the case when a similar decision was made by illegal and illegitimate councilors in the municipality of North Mitrovica, this decision was not made in the interest of the citizens of Leposavic and Zubin Potok and is considered null and void by all citizens. We remind you once again that the Serbs and other citizens in Serbian municipalities are exclusively interested in the formation and membership of the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities, which should be an umbrella organization for the protection of the collective and individual rights of the   Serbs and other communities, and not in Kurti's plays and games that are aimed at continuing the escalation, persecution of the Serbs and conflicts," the Serb List said.
