The Serb List: The court's decision on the detention of Serbs is an additional motive for the continuation of peaceful protests
The Serb List strongly condemned the decision of the Kosovo court to detain two Serbs without any proof of guilt, only because, as they point out in the statement, they do not agree with Albin Kurti's plan to ethnically cleanse the north of Kosovo from the Serbs through occupation and persecution.
The Serb List says that this is an additional motive to continue with the peaceful protests and demand that they be released.
"We strongly condemn the illegal and unfounded decision of the Kurti’s Court, which orders our innocent fellow citizens to be detained without any evidence of guilt, just because they do not agree with Albin Kurti's plan to ethnically cleanse the north of Kosovo and Metohija from our people through occupation and persecution. Rados Petrovic and Dusan Obrenovic peacefully expressed their protest against the occupation of the municipal building in Zvecan and tried to calm the situation on the ground, but apparently, their Serbian names are quite enough to be in Kosovo's casemates," the statement said.
It is recalled that the Albanian Special Forces who shot the Serbs in the back and tried to kill Stefan and Milos Stojanovic, Milan Jovanovic, and Miljan Delevic, were released to house arrest despite all the evidence of their guilt.
"Despite the calls of international representatives to reduce tensions, with this decision on detention, Kurti has shown that he wants to raise tensions at any cost and cause problems. Because of this shameful decision on detention, tensions have been raised in the north of Kosovo and Metohija, and even higher citizens' dissatisfaction is noticeable because it is incomprehensible to our fellow citizens that someone can be behind bars without any guilt. That is why it will be an additional motive to continue with peaceful protests and demand that Radosss and Ducan be released and returned to their families," the Serb List said.
