The Serb List assessed that despite already existing high tensions, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti did not stop with unilateral moves that created additional instability in the north of Kosovo.

"With the decision to seize property in the municipality of Leposavic, Pristina is directly interfering in the internal life of Serbian municipalities and is trying to use legal violence to provoke the reaction of the Serbs, who are aware from previous experience that this decision is detrimental to our people," the Serb List's announcement stated.

As it is added, despite the clearly expressed intention of the Serbs to preserve the peace and contribute to calming tensions, Kurti caused new problems every day and worsened the already fragile situation.

"Aware that his actions are aimed at causing crises, we demand from the international representatives to stop Kurti on time and not allow the fragile peace in these regions to be jeopardized," the Serb List stated.

They add that any further action against the interests of the Serbs, which remains unreacted by international representatives, will send the message that they support Kurti's policy of persecuting the Serbs and causing conflict, which, as they emphasized - none of the Serbs would agree to.

"On this occasion, we tell Kurti that the Serbs will not allow the implementation of activities aimed at the continuation of the militarization of the north, the occupation of our municipalities, and the increase of the presence of his special or some other units in the north of Kosovo and Metohija because their presence has been a source of problems for months, at the same time illegal and against the interests of our citizens," the Serb List emphasized.
