Serb List: Kurti has started the campaign at the detriment of the most vulnerable Serbs in Leposavic
The Serb List stated that Kosovo's Prime Minister Albin Kurti had officially started his campaign at the detriment of the most vulnerable Serbs and non-Albanians in the municipality of Leposavic by ordering the Center for Social Work to vacate its premises.
The Serb List points out that the Center for Social Work provides financial and other forms of support to more than 1,500 beneficiaries, including the most vulnerable, such as people with disabilities, single mothers, children, and the sick.
They say that Kurti is trying to demonstrate how much harm he can do to Serbs in order to gain cheap political points, while, as they note, the international community and embassies in Pristina silently observe the violation of the rights of the Serbian people.
"Albin Kurti has officially launched his campaign at the detriment of the most vulnerable Serbs and non-Albanians in the municipality of Leposavic by ordering the Social Work Center, which provides financial and other forms of support to over 1,500 beneficiaries, including the most vulnerable, such as people with disabilities, single mothers, children, and the sick, to vacate its premises. In the absence of anything good he can offer to Albanians, Kurti is making every effort to show how much harm he can do to Serbs, thus gaining cheap political points, while the international community and embassies in Pristina silently observe the violation of the rights of the Serbian people," the statement said.
The party points out that Kurti has no highways, schools, kindergartens, factories, or science parks he could visit, but he does have, as they say, "hatred toward Serbs, which his extremists heavily promote."
They also responded to the Kosovo prime minister's statement that a maternity ward would be opened in Leposavic.
"The fact that there is no end to the evil and hatred toward Serbs is evident in the announcement that Kurti wants to act as a midwife for Serbian mothers and babies. This feels like an announcement of the arrival of Dr. Mengele. If he wanted to act as a defender of the rights of the Serbian people, he could gather his heavily armed henchmen, illegally stationed in the north, and take them with him to Pristina, where murders, robberies, and rapes occur daily, and showcase his expertise there, instead of terrorizing the Serbian people," the Serb List said.
The Serb List expects that the international community will once again remain silent on the violation of the rights of the Serbian people, implicitly supporting Pristina.
"We expect that, even after this violent expulsion of the Center for Social Work in Leposavic, the Quint ambassadors will issue a weak statement, while some of them will quietly celebrate that Serbs are still under pressure from Kurti's regime," the party stated.
