The propaganda machine of Albin Kurti and Xhelal Svecla was constantly trying to criminalize the entire north of Kosovo and Metohija with the aim of finding an alibi for the presence of armed Special Forces in our municipalities who had been causing incidents for months, The Serb List announced today.

"At a time when the international public understands that Kurti is ready to provoke conflicts, and when the Serbs have been peacefully and democratically protesting in front of municipal buildings for almost a month, planting weapons and various military equipment is only a part of Pristina's propaganda activity with the aim of further escalating the situation on the ground," they say from the Serb List.

As the statement adds, a hundred clear pieces of evidence "exposed the lies of Svecla and this classic subterfuge", which, as it is added, the competent authorities of our country informed other foreign authorities before this charade happened.

"There are too many lies, so let's go in order, starting with the fact that the vehicle in which they allegedly found weapons and equipment was stolen three years ago, that the license plates on it have been invalid for three years, and that it is unbelievable that such a vehicle could have gone unnoticed 40 kilometers, as Svecla claims, in addition to all the illegal checkpoints set up by his police. We remind the citizens that the neighborhood where the vehicle was found has been under the surveillance of the Kosovo Police and international forces for weeks and that the weapon was allegedly loaded without any desire to hide it, as well as that before the arrival of the EOD and KFOR team, Xhelal Svecla knew in advance what was in the vehicle and announced it on social networks, and today he showed such a quantity of weapons that we wonder if it was a truck with weapons or a vehicle," they point out from the Serb List.

They add that Svecla also today "made a bunch of unfounded false accusations" against Aleksandar Filipovic.

"Imputing that he had an office in the municipal building in Leposavic and some radios in it, which is a notorious lie because Mr. Filipovic is not an employee of the municipality nor did he have an office in it," the Serb List said.

They estimate that the bigger the fraud, the more lies they needed to justify it transparently.

"In a similar way, they tried to cover and justify the accumulation of their military troops in the southern part of Kosovska Mitrovica with lies. Unfounded arrests and beatings of the Serbs, marching of Albanian units armed to the teeth, patrolling with armored vehicles next to Serbian mothers with children as if we were in the middle of a war. The goal is to further aggravate the situation on the ground in order to carry out the silent persecution of the Serbs from their hearths, to which the international community must respond as soon as possible," the Serb List emphasizes.

They say that they are convinced that Albin Kurti's regime will not stop there, as his minister Svecla publicly threatens "and will continue with subterfuges, lies, and provocations, all with the aim of justifying their occupation of the north, which causes concern among all citizens".

"The Serbs List rejects violence, which we have proven all these weeks at peaceful and democratic protests where we called for peace and dialogue so that things would return to normal and political problems would be solved at the table and not under the institutional repression that our people are experiencing today in Kosovo and Metohija. Violence is Pristina's only method of action and no one else's, and that is becoming more and more clear to the international public every day," the Serb List stated.

The Serb List once again called on KFOR and EULEX, with whom, as stated, it had been cooperating correctly for weeks, to deploy their forces at all important points in the north and prevent further deterioration of the situation on the ground.
