After several decades, Ivan Todosijevic is the first man on European soil to be convicted of a verbal offense, in front of the eyes of the entire international community and their representatives, who have been saying for years that the rule of law and democracy are extremely important to them, the Serb List stated, adding that it was obvious that it did not apply when it came to "proud and honorable Serbs."

They emphasized from the Serb List that today the member of the party's presidency, Ivan Todosijevic, received, as they say, "an illegal, anti-Serb verdict from the Court of Appeal in Pristina, by which he was sentenced to a prison sentence of one year for the words he said."

"This sentence is the crown of the Serbophobia of Albin Kurti's regime, which is trying, by all means, to send a message to all Serbs that they have no place in Kosovo and Metohija and to ethnically cleanse Kosovo and Metohija of the Serbian people, by persecuting honorable Serbian hosts," the Serb List points out.

They add that the proof that this is political persecution is the fact that Todosijevic learned about the sentence from the media, before the verdict was delivered to him, and even before the verdict he received a summons to serve the sentence.

"As in the first trial, this was also carried out contrary to the agreement from Brussels, which guaranteed the Serbs that in cases where proceedings against them will be tried by a judicial panel that will consist of two Serbian and one Albanian judge, which shows a clear intention that Mr. Todosijevic be convicted, regardless of the evidence, the facts, or the truth. His guilt was clear to the court panel because he is a Serb by nationality," the Serb List said in the statement.
