Serb List: We expect the Trump administration to insist on respect for human rights and agreements

Serb List congratulated Donald Trump on his convincing victory and election as President of the United States on behalf of both the party and the Serbian people in Kosovo, expressing confidence that the good relations and cooperation between the U.S. and Serbia, established during Trump's first term, will be further enhanced and solidified.

Through Facebook, Serb List expressed confidence and expectation that the situation and issues of the Serbian people in Kosovo will receive increased focus.

"We are confident that President Trump's administration will not allow the continuation of the systemic persecution of the Serbian people from their centuries-old hearths in Kosovo and Metohija, and will insist on respecting the basic human and political rights of the Serbian people, as well as all signed agreements, especially the one regarding the establishment of the Community of Serbian Municipalities," the statement reads.

Serb List emphasizes that the Serbian people have always stood with President Trump and are therefore genuinely encouraged by this historic victory.
