Serbia calls on OSCE to fully respect its status-neutral mandate

Serbia’s Mission to the OSCE has expressed concern over violations of the status neutrality of the OSCE Mission in Kosovo.

The reaction followed yesterday’s meeting of the caretaker Prime Minister Albin Kurti with the OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities, Kairat Abdrakhmanov, in Pristina.

In a statement posted on the social network “X,” Serbia reaffirmed its commitment to cooperation within the OSCE and emphasized that it has always taken a constructive approach to the OSCE’s activities in Kosovo. 

“However, we express serious concern over the violation of the status neutrality of the OSCE Mission by displaying the symbols of the so-called ‘Kosovo’ alongside those of the OSCE. We call on the OSCE to fully respect its status-neutral mandate in the Province, in accordance with United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244,” the statement of Serbia’s Mission to the OSCE underlined.
