The Kosovo Police detained and subsequently released a minor, B.J. (17), from Zubin Potok due to the inscription “Chetnici Sever” on his T-shirt, Kosovo Police regional North planning and operations chief Erduan Balići confirmed to Kosovo Online.

Baliqi stated that the minor had violated Article 11, paragraph 2 of the Law on Public Order and Peace.
“He was issued a fine and released,” Baliqi confirmed.
T-shirts bearing the inscription “Chetnici Sever” are one of the identifying features of a supporters’ group of the club Red Star Belgrade.
The minor was detained on the day of the “eternal derby” match between Partizan Belgrade and Red Star Belgrade.
Over the past several months, the Kosovo Police have detained multiple individuals, including minors, over inscriptions on T-shirts, some of which featured fan-related motifs of popular clubs such as Red Star Belgrade.
