Several Serbs detained at Gazimestan, Police also intervened against a 12-year-old girl

Kosovo police detained several individuals of Serbian nationality today following the memorial service at Gazimestan marking Vidovdan. Among those targeted was a 12-year-old girl who was released after her identity was verified.

According to Kosovo Online reporters, Kosovo police detained around 15 individuals “for singing nationalist songs.”

At one point, the police pulled a 12-year-old girl from the crowd after she shouted, “Kosovo is the heart of Serbia.”

After verifying the identity of her mother, who had accompanied her to Gazimestan, the girl was released.
