Simic: Kurti threatens peace in the north; he wants to hold Serbs hostage

The vice-president of the Serb List, Igor Simic, said that the peace in the north of Kosovo is threatened by Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, who, as he stated, wanted to keep the Serbs hostage, humiliated and disenfranchised at all costs.

He pointed out that Kurti did not respect the agreements and called on the international community to react.

"With his actions, he behaves like a rascal and a criminal who does not respect any laws, agreements or the rights of the Serbian people. We call on the international community to prevent Kurti from turning the Western Balkans into a powder keg," Simic said.

As he added, all honest citizens wanted peace, but Serbs would not tolerate tyranny.

"Serbs, Albanians, Bosniaks, Goranians, all honest citizens want peace, prosperity and the future, and Kurti wants destabilization, conflicts and chaos. Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija have never suffered tyrants, and they won't now either, and they will respond to Kurti as he deserves," Simic concluded.
