Stano: The EU position on the CSM formation has not changed, it is Pristina's international obligation

The European Union Spokesperson Peter Stano said for RTK that Brussels' position on the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities establishment in Kosovo remained unchanged, but he did not comment on the conditions that Prime Minister Albin Kurti set yesterday for the CSM establishment.

In this regard, he only noted that concrete steps were necessary in order to advance the dialogue process on the normalization of Kosovo-Serbia relations, RTK reports.

"I can only reiterate the urgency that the EU attaches to the improvement of the dialogue and the implementation of the reached agreements, and the Community formation is one of them," Stano underlined in a written reply.

Stano also reminded that Pristina had undertaken the CSM creation as an international obligation and that it was up to Kosovo to implement that obligation.
