Stano: I cannot confirm any date for the Brussels meeting

The spokesperson for the European Commission, Peter Stano, stated that he could not confirm the date and day scheduled for the meeting between Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti in Brussels.

Stano mentioned that the European Commission had already discussed expectations for the meeting as well as possible consequences. As he stated, the main focus now is to hold the meeting, to which the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, invited Kurti and Vucic to Brussels following the crisis in northern Kosovo.

"It is important to have the meeting in Brussels. I have no news or information about the date of the meeting yet, but today is Wednesday, and we have two more days until the end of the week. However, I am not in a position to confirm any day or date for the meeting at this moment," Stano said.
