The State Secretary in the Ministry of Defense of Serbia, Nemanja Starovic, said that all that we had been witnessing for days, almost daily incidents and violence against Serbs from the north of Kosovo, indicated that the situation was unsustainable, Pink reports.

"The situation in which we have the constant deployment of those militarized, mono-ethnic Albanian units of the Kosovo Police, which are neither trained nor equipped to carry out tasks under the jurisdiction of the regular patrol or traffic police, is a form of intimidation of the Serbian people," Starovic said.

As he specified, it is about special forces who shoot first, and then ask for a driver's and traffic license.

"Albin Kurti's ultimate goal is to start a spiral of escalation, considering that in the atmosphere of war psychosis that has taken over Europe, when a serious conflict occurs, the logic of diplomacy ends there and the war logic enters the scene," Starovic said.

The President of the Commission of the Government of Serbia for Missing Persons, Veljko Odalovic, speaking about the latest attacks on Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija, says that the only unusual thing that happened was that the Kosovo Police admitted to shooting Milan Jovanovic.

Odalovic says that even this would not have happened if there were no evident pressures.

"It seems to me that a series of incidents, attacks, and arrests must have caused some reaction. At last, they woke up. International officials barely responded, but they did send some messages of condemnation. It seems to me that someone had enough authority to make Pristina do what it needed to do," Odalovic said for TV Pink.

Odalovic pointed out that he did not rule out the possibility of new provocations for Easter and expressed the hope that it would not happen.
