Starovic: Thanks to those who withdrew Kosovo recognition, the world is turning blue, international law is winning
State Secretary in the Ministry of Defense Nemanja Starovic says that Dusan Dacic's geographical map, on which the countries that do not recognize Kosovo are colored blue, is an indication that international law will prevail.
"Great map by Dusan Dacic. The world is turning blue day by day. The moral is when you pursue a unilateral declaration of independence like Kosovo's, the recognition process is shaky and reversible by default. Many thanks to non-recognizers and retractors, intertnational law will prevail!" Starovic wrote on Twitter.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic pointed out last night that, bearing in mind the situation in the world, even 106 countries did not recognize the independence of Kosovo, only 84 unequivocally recognized it, and three countries were not clear on it.
He also published a list of countries that withdrew their recognition in the past period.
"We have nine countries that have withdrawn recognition - Somalia, Burkina Faso, Gabon, Eswatini, Libya, Guinea, Antigua and Barbuda, Saint Lucia, Maldives. We are waiting for the tenth," Vucic said at the annual press conference.
